CCO (Chromium Carbide Overlay) is the hardest and most wear-resistant, ideal for extreme abrasion environments. Mn13 develops a work-hardened surface under impact, making it excellent for crusher liners and impact plates. NM400 is a cost-effective wear-resistant steel for general abrasion applications. Choosing the right material depends on abrasion type, impact load, temperature, and cost. In summary, for severe sliding wear, choose CCO; for impact + abrasion, choose Mn13; for general abrasion with moderate cost, choose NM400.
