Industrial Stainless Steel Sheet
301 1 4 Hard Stainless Steel Sheet
301 1/4 hard stainless steel sheet is a high-strength, partially cold-worked material designed for applications requiring both durability and flexibility. Its chemical composition allows effective work hardening, making it suitable for spring components, automotive parts, and precision industrial products.
2mm 304 stainless steel sheet is most commonly supplied in cold rolled condition due to its superior surface quality and dimensional accuracy. While hot rolled stainless steel sheets can technically be produced in thinner gauges, they are typically used for thicker and more structural applications, with rougher surfaces and lower precision.
The 2B finish stainless steel surface is smooth and uniform but requires careful protection during processing and handling. Using protective film, controlled fabrication methods, proper storage, and careful handling can effectively prevent scratches and maintain surface quality.
22 Gauge Stainless Steel Sheet Metal
22 gauge stainless steel sheet metal and 12 gauge stainless steel sheet serve very different engineering purposes. The 22 gauge material is optimized for lightweight, high-formability, and precision applications, while the 12 gauge material is designed for strength, durability, and structural performance.
The 1mm 316 stainless steel sheet is a lightweight yet highly corrosion-resistant material suitable for precision fabrication. Due to its thin thickness, it requires careful handling during cutting, bending, welding, and machining to prevent deformation and surface damage. With proper processing control, it can achieve high-quality results in both industrial and decorative applications.
14 Gauge Stainless Steel Sheet Metal
14 gauge stainless steel sheet metal is produced according to multiple international standards including ASTM, EN, JIS, and GB systems. While the thickness remains relatively consistent at about 1.90 mm, the available sheet widths and lengths vary to meet different regional and industrial requirements.
12 Gauge 304 Stainless Steel Sheet
The 12 gauge 304 stainless steel sheet is a versatile engineering material that combines corrosion resistance, strength, and formability. It supports a wide range of fabrication methods including cutting, bending, welding, machining, and surface finishing. With proper processing control, it can be efficiently formed into durable and high-performance components for industrial and architectural use.
“SS 306 sheet” is not a formally recognized stainless steel grade in international standards and is often used in the market as a mistaken reference to high-performance stainless steels such as 316 or 310S. These materials are characterized by enhanced corrosion resistance, especially in marine and chemical environments, and are widely used in demanding industrial and architectural applications. Their price is generally higher than 304 due to the presence of additional alloying elements such as molybdenum or higher nickel content.
SS 304 stainless steel sheet has more stable pricing compared to SS 316 because it does not contain molybdenum, a more volatile alloy element. In terms of performance, the biggest difference lies in corrosion resistance: SS 304 is suitable for general environments, while SS 316 offers significantly higher resistance to chloride, seawater, and chemical exposure. As a result, SS 316 is used in more demanding applications but experiences greater price fluctuations in the global market.
SS 202 stainless steel sheet is widely used in kitchenware due to its low cost and good mechanical strength, making it suitable for basic household and indoor kitchen applications. However, compared with SS 304, it has lower corrosion resistance and stability, which limits its use in high-end or professional food environments. SS 304 remains the preferred choice for long-term durability and food-grade safety, while SS 202 is a cost-effective alternative for general kitchen products.
Mirror Gold Stainless Steel Sheet
Mirror gold stainless steel sheets are especially popular in Middle Eastern markets because they match the region’s strong demand for luxury architectural aesthetics, bright reflective surfaces, and high-end commercial design. The material is produced through 8K mirror polishing followed by vacuum PVD gold coating, resulting in a durable, elegant, and highly decorative surface widely used in hotels, malls, airports, and modern interior projects.
Hairline Finish Stainless Steel Sheet
Hairline finish stainless steel sheet is a more refined decorative surface compared to No.4 finish, offering a cleaner and more linear appearance. Due to higher processing requirements and better visual consistency, hairline finish is generally priced slightly higher than No.4 brushed stainless steel. Both finishes are widely used, but hairline is preferred for high-end architectural and interior design applications, while No.4 is commonly used for general industrial decoration.
