2024-O aluminum sheet is the fully annealed condition of 2024 aluminium alloy, a famous aerospace material from the Al-Cu-Mg alloy family. Compared with hardened tempers, the O temper provides maximum softness and formability, making it suitable for complex shaping before final heat treatment.

2024 aluminium is widely recognized for its high strength after aging. The O condition is mainly selected when manufacturers need excellent forming ability first and require later strengthening through solution heat treatment and aging.
