Abrasion Plate

Abrasion plate is available in a wide range of specifications, typically from 3 mm to over 100 mm in thickness, with standard widths from 1000 mm to 2000 mm and lengths up to 8000 mm or more. It can also be fully customized according to engineering requirements.

Abrasion Resistant Steel Grades

Abrasion resistant steel grades are classified mainly by hardness level and application requirements. AR and NM series are the most common systems, covering a wide range from medium hardness (AR400/NM400) to ultra-high hardness (AR550/NM550 and above). In addition, chromium carbide overlay plates provide extreme surface wear resistance for the harshest conditions.

Abrasion Resistant Stainless Steel

Abrasion resistant steel provides significantly higher wear resistance than standard stainless steel due to its high hardness and quenched microstructure. However, stainless steel offers superior corrosion resistance and is preferred in environments where chemical or moisture protection is critical.

Ar400 Wear Plate

AR400 wear plate and NM400 wear plate are both medium-hardness abrasion resistant steels with similar performance levels. AR400 follows international AR classification, while NM400 follows Chinese GB standards. Both offer good wear resistance, toughness, and fabrication performance, making them widely used in mining and industrial equipment.

Ar500 Wear Plate

AR500 wear plate is a high-hardness abrasion resistant steel designed for extreme wear conditions. With a hardness range of approximately 470–540 HBW, it provides the highest wear resistance among common AR steels. Compared with AR450, AR500 offers significantly better abrasion resistance but reduced toughness and more challenging fabrication. It is best suited for heavy mining, cement, and bulk material handling systems where wear is severe.

Ar400 Steel Sheet

AR400 steel sheet is a versatile abrasion resistant material designed for environments with both wear and impact stress. Its quenched and tempered structure provides a strong balance between hardness and toughness, making it widely used in mining, construction, and industrial equipment.

Ar400 Plates

AR400 steel plate is a widely used abrasion resistant material that offers an excellent balance between hardness, toughness, and impact resistance. With a hardness range of approximately 360–440 HBW, it performs well in mining, construction, and material handling applications.

Ar 450 Steel Plate

Conclusion AR400, AR450, and AR500 steel plates are all abrasion resistant materials designed for different levels of wear and impact conditions. AR400: Best toughness, lower wear resistance AR450: Balanced performance, most versatile choice AR500: Maximum hardness, best for extreme abrasion

Abrasion Resistant Wear Plates

Abrasion resistant wear plates are engineered steel materials designed primarily for extreme wear protection rather than corrosion resistance. Their high hardness, optimized microstructure, and in some cases work-hardening behavior make them highly resistant to abrasion and impact.

Abrasion Resistant Steel Sheet

An abrasion resistant steel sheet is a high-performance wear-resistant material designed for extreme abrasion and impact conditions. It is available in a wide range of standard thicknesses from 3 mm to over 100 mm, with common industrial widths up to 2500 mm and standard lengths up to 6000 mm or customized sizes.

Abrasion Resistant Metal

Abrasion resistant metals include a wide range of materials such as AR400–AR500 wear plates, high manganese steel (Mn13/Mn18), and chromium carbide overlay plates. Each material has a different balance of hardness, toughness, and impact resistance.

Manganese Wear Plate

Manganese wear plates are mainly divided into Mn13, Mn18, and their Cr-modified variants such as Mn13Cr2 and Mn18Cr2, as well as Chinese standard grades like ZGMn13 and ZGMn18.
