SS 202 sheet and SS 201 sheet both belong to the 200 series austenitic stainless steel, which is designed as a nickel-saving alternative to 304 stainless steel. In market applications, SS 202 is generally considered a slightly upgraded version of SS 201, mainly due to higher alloy content.
