303 stainless steel plate is a free-machining austenitic stainless steel developed from 304 stainless steel. Its main feature is improved machinability achieved by adding sulfur, making it ideal for high-speed machining and precision component production.
Compared with 304, 303 sacrifices some corrosion resistance and weldability in exchange for much better machining efficiency.
