5052 H32 Aluminum Sheet is one of the most widely used non-heat-treatable aluminum alloys in the 5000 series. The alloy is strengthened primarily by magnesium, providing excellent corrosion resistance, moderate-to-high strength, and outstanding formability. The H32 temper indicates that the material has been strain-hardened and then stabilized, offering a balance between strength and workability.
What Does H32 Mean?
The H32 temper designation represents:
- H: Strain hardened (work hardened)
- 3: Stabilized after cold working
- 2: Quarter-hard condition
Compared with O temper (annealed), H32 provides higher strength while maintaining good bending and forming performance.
