SA1D is a deep drawing quality cold-rolled steel grade commonly used as the base material for aluminized steel (aluminum-silicon coated steel). It is widely applied in the production of aluminized steel tubes, exhaust pipes, HVAC ducts, and heat-resistant structural components.

Compared with general structural steels, SA1D is designed for higher formability, making it suitable for complex tube forming processes such as bending, stretching, and roll forming before or after aluminizing.

1. SA1D Material Characteristics

SA1D is a low-carbon deep drawing steel with excellent plasticity and stable forming behavior.

Very good deep drawing performance
High elongation and ductility
